Akpi set to release another version of his “baby oil” track

Controversial songwriter Speed Darlington, aka Akpi, is set to release a new version of his controversial track titled “Baby Oil” following his civil dispute with Burna Boy.

Speed Darlington, in his recent post on Instagram, announced his plan to record another version as he searches for a better producer.

Though Akpi’s previous “Baby Oil” track added up to why he was detained after Afrobeat singer Burna Boy filed a petition against him which led to him being detained for two months.

Akpi, using his native language, narrated how a Nigerian police officer asked him not to sing anymore during his detention following his dispute with Burna Boy.

The controversial singer Akpi said it’s impossible for him not to do music anymore, claiming art is how he eats.

He added by saying no one can stop him from doing music; he isn’t singing for anybody, and if anyone claims his music sounds like it’s for them, then it’s okay by him, said Akpi.

His fans are all reacting as they anticipate his next song as regards his banter with Burna Boy.
