Actress Dayo Amusa urges parents to be present in their children’s lives
Popular actress Dayo Amusa has contributed her two cents on the trending matter concerning Asake and his father. She shared her opinion on why singer Asake covered his face with tattoos.

She explained through her Instagram post that either Asake is currently undergoing a rebrand, or he is suffering from some deep emotional issues.
Recall that Asake’s father, Mr. Odunsi alleged that he has been abandoned by Asake and is currently paralyzed after suffering a stroke. He appealed for financial support to manage his medical condition.
Asake also responded to the claims, saying that it is impossible to please everyone. He mentioned that he has always sent money to his father and has struggled for many years but has now realized that his father is trying to make his life difficult.
In reaction to this, actress Dayo said, ”His childhood remains a mystery-some say his father was absent, others claim his mother was harsh. But I won’t judge a father who left or a mother who did what she could. What matters is that Asake deserves love, not a public spectacle.”
She added that fame doesn’t heal the wounds of parental rejection. And that a child raised on “I love you” moves through life differently than one who hears, “I want nothing to do with you.”
She said, that some wounds money cannot fix, can only be fixed with intentional healing.
She urged parents to be present in their children’s lives and be the voice their child hears before the world tries to define them. ”A child who feels truly seen and loved at home has less to prove to the world.”
