”Kemi Badenoch should grow up and move on”- Aisha Yesufu

Human rights activist and social media personality, Aisha Yesufu criticizes Kemi Badenoch’s speech about the Nigerian Police.

Recall that Kemi, during an interview in the UK last week, said she had a b@d experience with the Nigerian police and that they st0le her brother’s shoes when they were in Nigeria. She compared the Nigerian police with the British police and said the British police were better off.

Since last week, many Nigerians have criticized Kemi for what she said. Aisha Yesufu, known for voicing her opinions on political matters, took to her X account to bl@st Kemi, she said,

”Kemi Badenoch. should grow up and move on! Context is everything! She was asked if she trust the British police? How is what happened with Nigerian police a reason for her to know if she will trust her British police or not?

What also brought in our poverty? If UK doesn’t give enabling environment for people to l0ot Nigeria’s wealth and take it there, poor and Nigeria will not be in the same sentence.

So, because the bar is low in Nigeria, it doesn’t mean that she should lower the bar for their police there! She should not use her Nigerian poverty mentality to lower the bar there!

Kemi Badenoch also said that she had to carry her desk and chair before she can sit in class at International School Lagos (ISL). And that she didn’t have access to clean water. She threw in the poverty blanket during her interview and some Nigerians are not in support.
