Big two, Davido and Wizkid sends reminder to their fans

In the midst of a serious debate amongst fans of the two big Nigerian Afrobeats songwriters, Wizkid and Davido, the two artists took to their Instagram stories to share their achievements in 2024.

Both fans of Wizkid and Davido are in a serious debate since Davido, popularly known as 001, claimed Afrobeat will not be mentioned without mentioning his name.

Davido, on his Instagram story, posted how he has gained more fame in the United States by posting a list of Nigerian artists to debut on the Billboard Best 100 chart in 2024.

The best Nigerian Afrobeats songwriters that made the list were Davido, Loja, and Burna Boy, which excludes Wizkid from the list.

Wizkid, on the other hand, celebrated himself by posting his achievements in 2024.

Big Wiz posted a list of Nigerian 2024 tracks to chart on the UK official singles chart with his song “Kese” on the list.

It has been a serious debate for both fans on social media since the controversial statement from Davido.
