Finland Freezes Simon Ekpa’s Assets, Transfers Him to Kylmäkoski Prison

Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Biafran agitator who has been in custody for weeks on suspicion of engaging in t£rrorism-related acts, has had his assets frozen by the Finnish government.

Additionally, the assets and businesses connected to Ekpa and four of his detained accomplices were frozen by the Finnish government.

This was mentioned by Mikko Laaksonen, Senior Detective Superintendent at the Finnish National Bureau of Investigation, who also mentioned that bail is not allowed in the nation’s legal system.

It had been earlier reported that Ekpa, the self-described “Prime Minister” of the Biafra Republic Government-in-Exile, was detained on suspicion of t£rrorist-related offences, such as inciting vi@l£nce and financing t£rror!sm, along with four other people over four weeks ago.

Ekpa was accused by the Finnish authorities of using social media to encourage v!ol€nce against both government officials and civilians in the South-East region of Nigeria.

Yle, a local media outlet, reports that Ekpa has been placed under detention on suspicion of inciting others to commit acts of t£rror!sm.

Ekpa is currently being imprisoned at the largest closed-unit prison institution in Finland, which is renowned for housing individuals who have committed major cr!m£s, such as v!ol£nt suspects and s£xual offenders.
