Fans Gift BBNaija’s Wanni and Handi N18 Million in Birthday Celebration
A former Big Brother Naija housemate and twin sisters, Wanni and Handi Dansaki who are popularly known as Wanni x Handi were showered with an overwhelming surprise on their birthday. The celebrities were gifted with as much as ₦18 million, among other luxury gifts, in proof of the loyalty of their fanbase, referred to as “Energy Squad.”

A viral video captured the sisters donning identical pink gowns, and dancing in joy before revealing the big check. Excitement was written over their faces as they declared appreciation to their well-wishers.

“Oh my God, thank you. Thanks, guys. That is amazing.”
A cheque with “Pay to: Wanni x Handi. Amount: Eighteen million naira only. Purpose: Happy Birthday” inscribed on it said a whole lot about the degree of the fan gesture. A couple of minutes after revealing the cheque, one of the twins was seen checking her phone for a notification to confirm the transfer. The twins exploded in excitement:
“Energy Team, we love you. It has dropped!”
The generous gifts were not only in cash, but also in money bouquets, portraits, designer shoes, and vouchers, among others. The event was quite grand and full of thought which is very common with Brother Naija fans, who have made it a point to spend freely on their favorite stars after the show, sometimes to launch or increase their careers.
Since leaving the show, the Dansaki twins have been in the limelight for being close and dynamic persons; they have equally been vocal in their expression of how grateful they are for the fans who have supported them in their post-BBNaija journey.
Notwithstanding the cash gifts, reports from the event also showed the emotional reactions of the twins who were visibly moved by the fanfare. The sisters took to their social media platforms, thanking their fans and stating how much it means to them.
