Funke Akindele gears up for the much-promised premiere of her latest project, “Everybody Loves Jenifa”. The comic actress and movie producer shared some of her rehearsals on her Instagram page, capturing just how excited she felt preparing for the big day at Lagos plush Delborough Hotel, which she labeled “the most exclusive hotel in Lagos.” She even went ahead to flaunt some exquisite diamond pieces from Boz Jewelry, stating she “love these pieces” in her post.
Akindele said in her Instagram post, “Hotel check-in = Everybodylovesjenifa Premiere mode activated! So glad to be finally checked into #thedelborough hotel, ‘the most exclusive hotel in Lagos.’ So in love with my Diamond pieces from @bozjewelry ❤️. It shall be well with everything today!! Amen??”. Something exuding positivity and energy from her got stolen into the hearts of her followers which was noticed by the comments on her Instagram post
“Everybody Loves Jenifa” is part of the popular Jenifa franchise – a cultural phenomenon born in 2008 with the release of the first movie. Expectations were high from the fans for this new adaptation, promising newer narratives and comic brilliance. The movie will finally seal her place among the most creative persons in Nollywood.
