“Northerners sleep with cows” – Comedian Seyi Law

Known by his stage name Seyi Law, Nigerian comedian Oluseyi Aletile, Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment and Tourism to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has made fun of and accused the northerners of drinking from latrines and sleeping with cows.

He recently expressed this opinion in a widely shared tweet, which caused Nigerians to react negatively and raise concerns about his lack of consideration and respect for the north.

When @flexiblenancy, an X user who was assumed to be from the north, condemned the Yoruba of being blatantly uneducated and shameless, Seyi responded saying “Coming from a people who sleep with cows and drink from the latrines”.
