“Asake stole my concept ‘Lungu Boy’ without acknowledging me” – Temple Lgx

Temple Lgx, a Nigerian show promoter and musical artist has come out to publicly accuse mega super star Asake of stealing his concept ‘Lungu boy’ without giving him proper credits.

Temple who was interviewed by Lucky Udu stated that Asake has been his friend for over five years but had totally forgotten about him since attaining fame.

When asked if he had proof for his accusation, Temple claimed that he has evidence from everywhere including social media where every of his song or post is tagged “Lungu boy” or “Lungu way”.

Temple also claimed that during the years of being friends with Asake, he had always assisted the artist financially whenever he reached out.

He further stated that he was surprised when he got to know that Asake’s album was titled “Lungu boy ”

Temple explained the concept of “Lungu” stating that it meant ‘unsafe corner’ and some of his friends referred to him as ‘Lungu boy’ including Asake.

According to him Asake never represented the concept “Lungu” untill April 26, 2024. After stealing the concept from him.

When asked by Lucky if he would keep using the name ‘Lungu boy’ Temple said the concept has always been his and he won’t let Asake take it from him.

He ended the interview by appealing to Nigerians to go stream his newly released EP ‘In the Lungu’.
