Gunm£n K!dnap Three from Innoson Showroom in Anambra.

Six gunm£n driving in two Toyota Sienna vehicles abduct£d persons said to be making their way back home after the day’s business around the traffic light junction, Umudim, Nnewi. This happened on Tuesday at about 5 pm. The road to the Innoson Motor Factory, Umudim Nnewi, North Local Government Area, Anambra State, and the Innoson Motorcycle Showroom are both conveniently located near the Traffic Light Junction, off the Onitsha Okigwe Motorway.

The abduct!on of these three people, consisting of two men and a woman (according to eyewitnesses), might be connected to the initial thr£at by gunm£n that they’d make Nnewi very unsafe for citizens. The gunm£n specifically said that they would make Nnewi look like Orsumoghu in the Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State, and also Orsu Ihiteokwa in the Orsu Local Government Area, Imo State. These areas aforementioned have been made no-go areas in the South East, and they warned that it would be the fate of Nnewi if Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is buried there without their permission.

It was reported, per Vanguard News, that the gunm£n threatened that the Nnewi community would be horrif!c and unsafe for citizens and all who do business there if they buried the late senator without their approval.

The police in Anambra State, however, assured the locals that they are available to protect people’s lives and property and dismissed some of the gunm£N’s actions in and around the industrial town, such as the sh00ting between the police and a local vigilante that took place at Nnobi junction a few days prior to the late senator’s funeral, as unrelated to the senator’s funeral.

It was also gathered that the k!dnappers double-crossed the vehicles of the victims with their Toyota Sienna and came down armed with sophisticated weapons. They quickly ordered the abduct£d to alight from the vehicle, pointing the g*n at their face. The men entered immediately, leaving behind the woman who was jittering and confused. An eyewitness disclosed that one of the gunm£n entered into the vehicle in which the victims were driving home and drove behind the hoodlum$’ vehicle carrying the victims while the second hoodlum’ vehicle followed behind. According to the eyewitness, the operation was carried out swiftly within five minutes. This forced shop owners to close earlier than usual.

The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Tochukwu Ikenga, who confirmed the incident yesterday, said the police are already working with information obtained from the scene for the ongoing  rescue  operations.
