Ed Sheeran has apologized for interrupting Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim’s live TV interview.

Popular songwriter Ed Sheeran, who is a minority owner at Ipswich football club, interrupted the pitchside interview of Manchester United’s new manager Ruben Amorim to greet Redknapp.

Amorim, who signed for the Red’s few weeks ago following the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag, was interviewed by Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates against Ipswich on Sunday.
“I don’t think he wants to speak to me”. Said Ed Sheeran while referring to Amorim as he left Ipswich.
He further added “I love to be back in the premier league.
On Monday 25th November Sheeran took to his Instagram to apologize to Amorim with the caption “ Apologies if I offended Amorim yesterday”.

He further stated that he wasn’t aware there was an ongoing interview at the same time he was popping in to say hi and bye to Jamie.
After Ipswich earned back-to-back promotions to secure a return to the Premier League this season, Ed Sheeran bought a minority stake in the club this summer.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for United in the second minute of the game but Omari Hutchinson’s 43rd-minute equalizer earned Ipswich a point.
Sheeran was the Ipswich main shirt sponsor in 2021 before he decided to purchase a minority stake in the club.
