Popular American singer Khalid publicly comes out as G@Y – “I’m not ashamed of my $€xuality”

Khalid came out as a g@y man in a humorous and unapologetic way, inspired by being outed on social media. His statement not only speaks for him but for many others who are in the process of acceptance and facing the challenges of coming out in public.
On Friday evening, Khalid went on to X to clear the air. He apparently tweeted a rainbow flag, which is a symbol of the |GBT% community, along with the words, “There yall go. Next topic, please, lol”
With a follow-up tweet, Khalid stated, “I got outted, and the world still continues to turn. Let’s get this straight: I am not ashamed of my $€xuality! In reality, it’s nobodies business! But I am okay with me. 🖤 love yall.”
This was a reaction to being exposed by another artist, he explained in the later tweets. Khalid was not afraid to claim his identity, and his lighthearted and assertive approach spoke volumes about his character.
Khalid was not out to the public on his $€xuality until he was forced out by another artist by the name of Hugo D. Almonte, who made some provocative statements on his social media pages, which saw people making some assumptions on Khalid’s state of affairs.
