I'm in the UK to take care of my mental health: Bobrisky replies Critics

Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, whose real name is Okuneye Olarewaju has responded to his critics.

This is coming days after he jets out of Nigeria despite several initial failed attempts.

Bobrisky, in a recent post on his social media handle said that he left the country “to take care of my mental health” and not for show off.

Some critics have claimed that Bobrisky is lying about her being abroad.

They said that the Bob they know would have taken pictures in the foreign country and flaunted them online.

However, since Bobrisky has left Nigeria for the United Kingdom, he’s yet to post pictures of himself online

His only response so far was that “ I left Nigeria to take care of my mental health”

Replying to the commentator on his Instagram handle, Bobrisky said:

“posting pictures abroad is now a big deal to some of you,I keep forgetting i’m not in your level. I came here to take care of my mental health (sanity),not to show off.

If I start to post pictures now these same people will start saying you can’t keep yourself private,your cho cho too much, confused humans”

Here’s a quotation from his social media post;

“Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily. I need to attend to my sanity and my health,”

In the past couple of months, Bob has faced a lot of legal battles, including being sentenced on April 12th of 2024 for Naira Abuse and released on August 5th of this same year

He departed Nigeria days after he was released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on allegations that he had bribed EFCC officials with 15million naira to drop money laundery charges against him.

He also allegedly paid Nigeria Correctional Service for special treatment and privileges.

He was later released after denying a voice note that was to be used as evidence against him.

While his departure has been applauded by his fans claiming he has faced a lot, they reaffirmed his need to attend to his mental sanity and overall well-being and wished him a happy stay.

On the contrary, Bobrisky critics alleged that he had gone for “ maintenance” of his body surgeries and also cited he went into hiding to sway away from further tussles.
