The drama between the couple has taken over social media with many reacting to the situation. OluwaDolarz, whose real name is Olamide Babatunde Ogunleye, proposed to Ife Luv in November 2024. A video of the proposal, which happened at a nightclub in Lagos, surfaced online and went viral, with congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues. The two were seen as the perfect couple with many hoping for a fairytale wedding.

However, their relationship took a turn when Ife Luv announced the end of their engagement in a series of Instagram posts. In her posts, she revealed she was done with the comedian due to his repeated infidelity. She also said she had been the primary caregiver to their son Nifemi, implying OluwaDolarz had failed as a father.

In response to the situation, Solomon Buchi took to his social media to advise Ife Luv on what to do. According to Buchi, if the allegations against OluwaDolarz were true, there was no reason for Ife Luv to stay. He said a marriage with dishonesty, cheating and financial instability would only bring endless suffering.

“Dear Ife while marriage isn’t a bed of roses it’s wrong to get into it as a bed of thorns. If indeed everything you’ve said about Oluwadollarz is true – his cheating spree and financial instability – let him go,” Buchi wrote.

Buchi said occasional mistakes in a relationship can be forgiven if a partner shows remorse and makes amends. But he said a man who continues to cheat without any effort to change is unlikely to become a committed and trustworthy husband. “It’s one thing to cheat and make it up to you once but it’s hell and characteristic of him if he sleeps with everything in a skirt,” he added.

Buchi also told Ife Luv to disregard any plea from OluwaDolarz’s mother, saying generational differences may affect her perspective on relationships and marriage. He said older generation always encourages women to endure toxic relationships but modern women should prioritize their happiness and mental health.

Buchi concluded by saying, “Ignore his mother’s plea, she’s from a different generation. A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage. You sound like a very educated girl, save yourself a lifetime of suffering.”
