“if you cannot influence your father with innovative ideas, you’re useless to us” – VDM slams governors’ children

The online sphere has been set ablaze by the recent saga involving VeryDarkMan (VDM) and Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Initially, VDM’s viral video critiqued the perceived lack of innovation within the Nigerian government, directly addressing Seyi Tinubu.

VDM’s initial message emphasized the need for fresh, forward-thinking approaches, suggesting infrastructure development like airports in all 36 states to attract investment. He argued that current advisors were “old” and “dusty in brain,” urging Seyi to push for modern solutions. He even went as far as to say that children of governors are “useless to us” if they can’t influence their fathers with innovative ideas.

However, a somewhat dramatic shift occurred when VDM issued a public apology to Seyi Tinubu. The apology centered on VDM’s association of Seyi with Lege Maimi, which he now deemed an “insult.” This sudden reversal has sparked intense debate, with many questioning the reasons behind VDM’s assertion. Although it’s obvious from the video made by Lege Maimi that he sounded somewhat disjointed in his expression directed to VDM. The incident points to the volatile nature of internet mishaps and the dynamics between public figures and social media personalities.

Hopefully, Lege Maimi is likely to do a rebuttal video meted at VDM. The online fight’s end is not in view.
