The ordination that happened in the Southwest region of the country has then drawn the attention of the public, with many questioning the order of such ordination.

In the video, the Bishop of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, popularly known as the ’White Garment Church,’ could be seen pouring anointing oil on the head of the new pastor who knelt before him.

After that, the bishop, surrounded by other pastors, spoke in Yoruba, asking for a tongue-gongue ordination. Immediately, the pastor and the bishop ki$$ed amid ordination.

The video, which was shared on social media, especially X (formerly Twitter), ignited heated discussion with netizens questioning the morality, spiritual and purity of such ordination in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.

This is diabolical,” netizens said, meaning the process is not legal, spiritual, and scriptural.

This is disgusting. How can men be ki$$ing in the name of ordination?” Another social media user questioned.

While critics mocked the event, other Nigerians suspected to be members of the church countered netizens, asking them to keep quiet as they have limited knowledge of the doctrine of the church.
