Linda Ikeji whose full name is Linda Ifeoma Ikeji was born 19th September 1980 in Nkwerre, Imo State, Nigeria is a Nigerian blogger, writer, entrepreneur and former model. She is the second child in a Catholic family and started showing her writing talent at 10. Her early passion for storytelling laid the foundation for her future in the media industry.

At 18 Linda enrolled in the University of Lagos to study English Language. To support herself and her family while in school she took up various part-time jobs including waitressing, modeling and writing. She graduated in 2004 and two years later in 2006 she started blogging as a hobby. When internet was limited in Nigeria Linda would visit cybercafes to update her blog.

By 2007 Linda was an active blogger, she used the sub-domain lindaikeji.blogspot.com before getting her own domain www.lindaikejisblog.com. Her blog quickly grew and became the number one source of entertainment news, celebrity gossip and lifestyle content in Nigeria and beyond. This made her one of Africa’s most influential digital media entrepreneur.

• Linda Ikeji TV: A platform with various content including talk shows, reality series and documentaries.
• Linda Ikeji Radio: An online radio station from her media office with some programs broadcast live on Linda Ikeji TV.
• Linda Ikeji Music: A music platform launched November 21st 2016 which went dormant three months after launch.
• Linda Ikeji Social: A social networking site to combine blogging with social networking features.

In 2023 Linda made her debut in film production with “Dark October” a movie about the tragic Aluu Four lynching. Outside of her media business Linda is a philanthropist. Through her program “I’d rather be self-made; No thanks” she has supported young Nigerian women 16-25 with business ideas and distributed ₦10 million in the first phase.
