Ooni Welcomes Olori Ashley and Prince Ademakinwa Back to Palace

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on Saturday in Ile-Ife, Osun State, welcomes his wife, Olori Ashley Ogunwusi, and their newborn son, Prince Ademakinwa back to the palace. Traditional rulers, dignitaries, and well-wishers were present to celebrate the arrival of the new prince.

Prince Ademakinwa was born on September 3, 2024 at Princess Royal Hospital, London, United Kingdom. The Ooni shared the good news on his Instagram page, thanking Olodumare for the gift of the new prince.

On their return to the palace, the Ooni posted on Instagram:

“Today, the heavens rejoice, and the earth bears witness to a moment woven in destiny. With profound gratitude to Olodumare, we welcome home our beloved Prince, a sacred gift, a living testament to the eternal cycle of life and legacy.

The cries of a newborn are not just sounds—they are echoes of our ancestors, whispers of a great lineage reborn. His arrival is a promise, a torch passed from generations past to the future yet to unfold. Under the divine watch of Olodumare, his path is blessed, his steps guided, his spirit fortified.

The homecoming was marked with traditional rites, music, and cultural performances in honor of the new prince. Well-wishers took to social media to congratulate the royal family, with many describing the occasion as a sign of pride for the Yoruba kingdom.
