Naira Marley leaked his chat with Iyabo Ojo after she claim they’ve not met

A new drama may be unfolding between controversial Nigerian rapper Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, and Nollywood actress cum filmmaker Iyabo Ojo, also known as Queen Mother.

Just moments ago, Naira Marley, in a series of posts via his Instagram story, leaked old chats between himself and Iyabo Ojo from the years 2021 and 2022, respectively.

In the chat, Iyabo Ojo requested Naira Marley’s presence at some of her events, including her late mother’s remembrance party. Another chat saw the actress requesting Naira Marley’s assistance to help her adopted son, who was into music.

Naira Marley, however, did not give any reason for sharing the old chats publicly. He simply posted the screenshots without any caption.

This move comes as Iyabo Ojo, since the former Marlian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, passed away, has been championing the advocacy for justice for the deceased musician.

Recall that after the singer passed on September 18, the actress accused Naira Marley of b*llying Mohbad and causing the trauma that led to his unalive. This in turn led to a series of back-and-forths between the Marlian boss and actress, including lawsu!ts.

Speaking about Naira Marley and late Mohbad’s case in January 2025 on the Talk to B podcast, Iyabo Ojo said that she has never met Naira Marley in person.

The leaked chat has sparked mixed reactions from fans, with some bashing the singer and asking for the relevance of the old conversation. Some have, however, made suggestive remarks. See screenshots of the leaked chat and reactions to it below:
