He tweeted: “Crypto; An open but legal p@nzi scheme that takes money from the poor and ordinary folks, and gives to the developers/insiders, early birds, snipers, and of course, crypto influencers. 99% a transparent sc@m.”

This has caused quite a stir, with users agreeing and disagreeing with him in droves. It’s a mini version of the bigger crypto debate in finance. CelebrityNote has gathered some of these reactions:

@DrazzyWorld said: “You live in a Stone Age. Under a cave sef. I know how much $Trump coin gave me and my dawgs yesterday. I know how many that never knew they’d become millionaires this year that became one yesterday cos of crypto. I unlike it when ppl that are meant to be smart playing uburu eke.”

@OdogwuGNR replied: “Seemingly, Daniel could have looked into what he knew nothing about. We should take our time to understand some of these things before we talk about them rather than form opinions on things we have not researched. Daniel get done materials on this stuff.”

@Gene_sis0 said: “Well I’ve come to understand that no matter your educational background, everyone has their own view regarding cryptocurrency. Some call it a scam, especially those without proper risk management, while others say it’s a blessing to this generation. But the truth is that in crypto you have to lose for others to win, and that doesn’t make it a Ponzi scheme.”

@Yeneh__ added: “I think if we all accept that there’s no such thing as ‘free money,’ it will do our society much good. It’s usually greed that pulls people into these crypto scams.”

@busy_brain007 said: “Great advise, considering that your main audience are Normies and crypto noobs.”
