K1 De Ultimate Mourns Passing of Ex-Wife
K1 De Ultimate is bereaved. His former wife, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowoshe is gone. She was 65 and was ill.

Alhaja Hafsat was buried at Abari Cemetery, Lagos after Islamic rites.
She has a daughter, Honourable Idayat Anifowoshe who is a Special Assistant on Special Duties to Dr. Mayor Muibi Alade Folawiyo, Executive Chairman of Lagos Island East Local Council Development Authority (LIELCDA).
In a condolence message, Olushoga Olushola, Chief Press Secretary to LIELCDA chairman wrote:
“I am deeply saddened by her passing. Alhaja Hafsat was a paragon of virtue. She was a loving mother and a dependable partner. May you find solace in her good service to God and humanity. Rest assured we are with you and our prayers are that you, the children and all she left behind will continue where she stopped. May her soul rest in peace.”
Alhaja Hafsat’s passing has brought out grief and tributes from family, friends and Fuji music community. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
K1 De Ultimate born Wasiu Ayinde Adewale Olasunkanmi Omogbolahan Anifowoshe on March 3, 1957 in Lagos State, Nigeria is a Fuji music icon. He has been in the music industry for over 40 years.
The family will be private for now as they mourn their matriarch. More details on memorial service will be announced later.
