Barrister Deji has always kicked against Burna Boy’s decision to keep Speed Darlington, aka Akpi, in detention over a civil dispute. In one of his posts, he stated the manner in which Akpi is being treated can only happen in an animal farm.

Also, in the recent saga between Cubana Chief Priest and Afrobeat songwriter Burna Boy, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram to also make the same statement as to why Akpi was detained; in the post, Cubana Chief Priest referenced Burna Boy.

Barrister Deji also shaded Burna Boy for accusing and dragging Davido as well as Cubana Chief Priest but could not tolerate Akpi online banter.

We are likely going to see a combined effort from Cubana Chief Priest, who promises to use his influence and barrister Deji on Monday to get Akpi released.

The post from barrister Adeyanju Deji has gained traction from people as they show support.
