“I want you to know that I’m back home now”- Wizkid tells fans

Afrobeats superstar Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, got fans excited after publicly announcing that he is back home.

Recall that Wizkid has been away from home for a few years now, which shows a physical detachment from fans. Though he has been connecting with his fans, popularly known as Wizkid FC, on social media platforms.

Many of his fans craved hanging out with the singer to show emotional support and dance to his unique music.

The ‘Ojuelegba crooner’ was spotted in a video cheering fans up and wishing them a ‘Happy New Year’ as he went further praying for his fans in a Yoruba language and further revealed his intention of being at home.

According to him, “First of all, happy new year. I have a very important message for you, Lagos, Nigeria. I want you to know that your son Ayodeji Balogun, aka Big Wiz, Machalla, The biggest bird. I want you to know that I’m back home now.”

Immediately, Wizard’s ‘I’m back home now.’ statement quickly got fans talking as many expressed their gratitude and love to the talented songwriter.
