Burna Boy shades Davido, says he lies too much

Following the Burna Boy and Davido saga that sparked reactions in 2020, both artists have not been on talking terms with each other despite being the best of friends before fame.

Earlier today, Burna Boy slightly shaded Davido on his Instagram story. Burna Boy indirectly said his old-time friend Davido lies too much and he should take a new leave in 2025.

In 2020, Davido claimed he bought a property owned by Sujimoto in Banana Island, but Burna claims Davido only rented the house.

“If you ever lied about buying Sujimoto’s house in Banana Island, when you only rented it. Do better in 2025,” Burna Boy wrote.

According to Burna Boy, Davido also lied about being the owner of Rafiu Elele’s house.

“If you ever lied about Elele’s house being yours, do better in 2025.”

The shade from Burna Boy to Davido didn’t just end there; he also claimed Davido’s Rainbow Daytona wristwatch was fake and not original.

Saying Davido always claims his rainbow Daytona was real, he advised Davido to do better as well in the coming year.

“If you have an aftermarket rainbow Daytona, please stop telling people it’s real; do better in 2025.”

Burna Boy explained how he could continue writing about David’s lies over the years, saying his shades towards Davido were endless.

In his conclusion, he admonished the Nigerian government to make lying a cr!minal offence as men.

“It should be a cr!minal offence to tell as many lies as certain men,” he added.

The question now is, was Davido really lying about these things?

Maybe we might just be waiting for him to debunk what Burna Boy, aka Odogwu, said about him by posting some evidence.
