“Vinicius Jr should have won the Ballon d’Or, in my opinion” – Cristiano Ronaldo

Following Brazilian international Vinicius Junior’s falling out on winning the 2024 Ballon d’Or to Spanish player Rodri, many claimed denying Vinicius the award was unfair.

While a few people claimed Rodri deserved the award considering his statistics and his performance for Manchester City and Spain.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo aired his opinion about the subject matter; he claims Vinicius deserves to have won the 2024 Ballon d’Or.

“Vinicius Jr should have won the Ballon d’Or; in my opinion, it was clear,” Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It was UNFAIR. This is why I love the Globe Soccer Awards; they are honest”.

The post has stirred serious reactions from football lovers around the globe.

Nigerian media personality Daniel Regha also gave his opinion opposing Ronaldo.

“Ronaldo wouldn’t love the Globe Soccer Awards if Messi dominated; let’s not forget his actions & remarks after Messi won it repeatedly, “Factos.”

“That said, the 2024 Ballon d’Or should’ve been won by Jude Bellingham; Vinicius got the hype, but he wasn’t more deserving than Bellingham, who was the best player in Real Madrid & also La Liga,” Daniel Regha wrote.
