“If you open another one, them go still hack am” – Popular Tech entrepreneur Blord attacks VDM, warns him to shut down website
The ongoing controversy surrounding Otse Martins, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, who allegedly lost 180 million Naira from his NGO account to cybercriminals, has become a trending topic since Celebritynote broke the news on Friday, December 27, 2024.
Amid the saga, a lot of Nigerians had voiced their opinions, as many condemned the incident, which tends to affect the human rights activist’s reputation.
However, critics used the opportunity to blast Verydarkman for being careless and not putting adequate security on the NGO website.
Blord, known for his outspoken nature, took to X (formally Twitter) to mock VeryDarkMan, drawing attention to what he described as incompetence in managing digital platforms.
Blord mocked VeryDarkMan’s history of calling out tech enthusiasts with “seven apps” for minor misunderstandings with their users.
He said, “Now, a common one small website wey you go manage well, you don loss 160 million. You think, say, tech na singlet or pure water?”
He went further, advising VeryDarkMan to shut down the website permanently. “If you open another one, them go still hack am no matter the security. This is what we see every day as techies,”
He further concluded his statement that “No matter what you still remain my boy, God did teach you a lessonI i pray you recover that money, if not you must go jail o.”
Despite the criticism, fans of Verydarkman countered the critics, saying they believe more in him regardless of public opinion.
