🤣🤣🤣Moment a man mocked Nigerian students studying in Canada: “After spending $40K una go come back”
Quite recently, there has been buzzing news that Canada has suspended all study japa route for international students. What this basically means is that even when you are done studying, there will no longer be a permit to stay and find a job; you’ll have to go back home and then apply for a fresh visa. This recent development has devastated a lot of international students, especially Nigerians, who always sought the study japa route in order to find a ground in the country after studies
A Nigerian man on X, @MikaelCBernard, has come to mock Nigerian students currently studying in Canada, reminding them of how they will return to the country after spending thousands of dollars on education
His tweet👇
The study japa route to Canada is basically closed now. As you spend $40k study finish, you go back to your country.
Ndi “it’s only illegal immigration that they’re after” will learn and will learn the hard way.
They’d deport and ban legal before illegal. Una go see shege
His statement has caused quite the stir amongst local and international students, with most of them backlashing him on the one hand and others urging Nigerian students to come back home and build the country.
Reactions read;
@_namedNameless – “You’re talking nonsense as usual”
@NwachukwuColl18 – “They all should come back home, afternoon Nigeria is our home“
@NastyBoyfriend – “$hut up , fix your country!!!!
@Cryptoarena001 – “Tell ur leaders to fix ur country“
